September Art Jam

September 26th, 2008

Yes, there is a September Art Jam–today, fourth Friday, 5-9 pm, free trolley from 6-9. Come downtown & check out everything that’s happening!

This evening at the Art Jam, there will be art & music on the streets, open stores, art in galleries and on the walls all over downtown. Many stores & galleries will be serving refreshments. And there are free trolley rides, sponsored by the Riverboat Inn, from 6-9 pm.

Old Court Days starts today, and Chautauqua begins tomorrow. Come downtown–Madison looks beautiful, and the weather’s going to be perfect.

Don’t forget there’s Music in the Park–special Chautauqua edition–Saturday evening from 7-9 at the Broadway Fountain. Everyone loves The Doctors Band!

The next Art Jam is October 24 & yes, we will have a Halloween theme (optional of course).

Then in November & December, we’ll be moving Art Jam to the second Fridays–because Thanksgiving and Christmas already have the fourth weekends locked up.

See you downtown!

Something happy is happening downtown!

May 3rd, 2008

Every 4th Friday, come to the beautiful Downtown Madison Historic Landmark District for music, art, galleries, craft, performance art and more! We call it Madison’s Art Jam!

There will be free Madison Tolley rides, food, drink and fun from 5-9 p.m. every fourth Friday. See you June 27th for the first ever Art Jam!

The Madison Art Jam needs street performers and musicians to perform for tips, and artists to show/demonstrate their talent & sell their wares at monthly Downtown art/music events beginning June 27.

Art Jam is coordinated by the Madison Main Street Program. Give us your thoughts in the comments or email us at information@madisonmainstreet.com. Want to talk to a live person? Call Nancy Gruner at 812-701-9500 or email at ncgruner@hotmail.com.
